Dr. Blume’s art combines beauty, function, and spiritual messages
from objects usually found in a typical junk drawer. Art, like
life, involves transformation. Hence, her creative collages are
formed on scraps of wood, using decoupage, napkins and tissue paper,
buttons, gems, lace, coins, ribbons and string, old jewelry, and
other trinkets to form a balance of decorative charm with words of
inspiration for the soul.
